Creds, chits, and the market: spending without regret
Creds are the currency you earn. Chits are the optional premium currency. Both open packs and offers, but every spend is a trade against your next squad improvement. Spend like a manager, not a collector.
Core packs are for filling holes
At 1,800 creds (or 40 chits), a Core pack is the cheapest way to add a functional body. Use it when a position is thin, not when you are chasing a star. OVR 64–74 is depth, not a headline signing.
Signal packs are for the starting XI
At 6,000 creds (or 120 chits), a Signal pack costs more than three Core packs. Buy one when a single upgrade genuinely changes your first team. If the player would sit on the bench, the pack was a mistake.
The market rewards patience
Listings are posted by other managers. Check the price against the player's OVR and position. A slightly worse player at half the price is often the better deal, especially in Division 4.
List, do not always quick-sell
Quick-sell is instant and safe. Listing takes longer but can return more. Quick-sell when you need creds before the next matchday; list when you can wait.
Facilities pay you back
The Arena increases gate receipts on every matchday, and the training grid makes card upgrades cheaper. If you are unsure where to spend, upgrade the thing that pays you every week before you buy another squad player.
